Prof. Lauro Tatsuo Kubota

About The Author

Lauro Tatsuo Kubota currently is Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Institute of Chemistry of Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil. He received the PhD degree in Chemistry from UNICAMP in 1993. After working for 5 years at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Bauru, Brazil he joined to Institute of Chemistry at UNICAMP as Assistant Professor. He did a post doc in Lund University, Sweden (1997-1998). Member of São Paulo State Academy of Science (ACIESP), member of Brazilian Academy of Science (ABC), Coordinator of the National Institute of Science and Technology in Bioanalytic (INCTBio), Research Fellow of the Brazilian Research Council (CNPq) 1A level and Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry. He published more than 300 papers in international journals and supervised 30 PhD students and 18 post-doc. His current researches interests are the development of sensors, biosensors, and bioanalytical methods.
